My name is Fereshte. I am 16 years old, live in Chile, and am currently in the 11th grade at school. I have always liked photography, playing musical instruments, singing, traveling, spending time with friends and family, and meeting and learning from other people.
Whenever I can, I like to serve at the temple and participate in classes, activities, and camps for children and youth from all over the country and of all beliefs. That’s also one of my favorite activities outside of school. I like to feel that I can help and contribute wherever I am: at school, at home, and in the community.
I feel very excited about being in the Children’s Advisory Group and meeting, sharing, and learning from children from all over the world. I love the idea of how, despite coming from distant countries and different languages and cultures, we are all united for the same reason. I love how the Forum is oriented, how children and adults will work together for the same goals, listen to each other, and discuss how each of us can help and contribute to making a better world. I can’t imagine the many new things I will learn!
