Mr. Mubarik is the Co-Coordinator of GNRC Pakistan and the Executive Director of Search for Justice, a Pakistani NGO committed to championing the rights of children. For nearly 20 years, Mr. Mubarik’s focus has been on advocating for the protection of children’s rights and improving the overall situation of children in Pakistan. He has actively lobbied for stronger laws and policies to enforce and strengthen implementation of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) in Pakistan, as well as other human rights commitments made by the Government of Pakistan, especially relating to children. Mr. Mubarik’s advocacy largely focuses on the challenges faced by children in Pakistan, including sexual abuse, exploitation, domestic child labor and early marriage.
