Rev. Nyabera is the Director of Arigatou International’s Interfaith Initiative to End Child Poverty based in Nairobi, Kenya. He is a social scientist and a trained theologian with an interest in development work. He has extensive experience in faith-based peacebuilding and advancement of the Freedom of Religion or Belief at the local, regional, and global levels. Together with faith-based, civil society, government, inter-governmental, and multilateral organizations, Rev. Nyabera has worked passionately to improve the well-being of communities in Eastern Africa by supporting accountable governance and promoting peace and security for development, especially concerning marginalized and vulnerable groups. He previously served as the Executive Director of the Fellowship of Christian Councils and Churches in the Great Lakes and Horn of Africa, and as Executive Director at Inua Kenya Foundation, focusing on good governance and peacebuilding in East Africa.
